Still in vacation mode??
'Drive off day' felt like the start of any other vacation beginning!   Last minute loading, grocery shopping, hugs and goodbyes, lots of 'til we see you soons', and the excitement of no schedule on the horizon!
Off we go with one Grand to pick up another in Va. and to see two of our sons and their families.   No different than any other vacation...
Picked up second granddaughter and after a wonderful week with our kids, we headed to Myrtle Beach.
The girls had a blast spending time splashing in the ocean, cooking out, eating s'mores and we all loved just being together!
We then headed back to Va. and dropped off both girls and splat!!  NOW what??

We did have an appointment in Elkhart, to have new levelers installed in the coach, but the parts had to be ordered as the wrong ones came in, so we actually had time!   But what to do?? (After all, we're on vacation and need to see as much as we can, right?? )
Virginia Beach?   Naw, just left a beach.   QUICK!   THINK!!!   Then the realization hit us!  We can do anything we want to do!   (Still have to get to Elkhart, Indiana by the end of the month)
We pulled out the old Woodalls/Trailer Life and began searching for something that looked fun and interesting...We found a wonderful resort campground in Urbana, Va. and headed that way. Got a discount for a week and here we are!   Something to do every night, right on Chesapeake Bay, so lots of seafood which we love, amazingly nice people, (one brought us freshly picked blueberries!)
We know that we can't live like this every day, but for our first week alone, it's been great!!!
Next week it's back to frugality and a new passage in our lives, but what a great start to this new adventure!
